I love this little thing! I travel almost everyday for my business. This gives me a sence of security as well as extra time because all I have to do is type in the address instead of using mapquest ect. It it the best at night because it is so easy to see, unlike trying to read directions on paper in the dark. I call her "Alice". It may seen that sometimes she is taking me thru the rabbit hole of wonderland...but she always gets me there at the time she says she will!

This is my first GPS and the only regret I have is that I didn't get it earlier. I have it for one month now (bought it before a road trip). It never failed me. It is very convenient to just ask it for the nearest hotel. Satellite pickup is only a few seconds. It doesn't speak the street names but they are printed in the top of the screen.

This is a great GPS, very easy to use, and works great. It doesn't have all the features of the better models such as the GPS ability to say the street names instead of just saying "turn left", but it was far cheaper than the next model up.
I would buy it again.

Received the Garmin 205W a few days later than anticipated. Product performs as indicated. Being a 1st time user, a small instruction book would be a good addition. after playing with the unit a few times one can link to locations and maps without much problem. When errors or mistakes are made the operation is extremely forgiving and easily corrected.
Good product for the $$... Highly recommended be this mapping rookie....
